Pemberian Kompos Kulit Pisang terhadap Hasil Tanaman Bawang Merah

Abstract


Peat soil has the potential to be planted with shallots, only it needs to be treated properly and correctly. This study aims to determine the administration of banana peel compost on peat soil on the growth and yield shallots. The research method uses randomized completely design with “kapok banana peel compost” as a treatment, consisting of A= without compost, B = compose at a dose of 500 g, B = compose at a dose 750 g, C = compose at a dose 1000 g, D = compose at a dose 1250 g; E = compose at a dose 1500 g, with the number of replications 4. As basic fertilizer POC was given before planting into the media with concentration of 200ml/l and dose 250 ml/polybag. Onion planting is carried out in polybag. The results of the study, compost can increase plant height, number of tubers, and tuber weight per clump by increasing the number of tubers ranging from 41,1% - 54,0%, tuber weight ranging from 42,1% - 54,0%, giving banana peel compost at a dose of 1000 g.
